PORTRAIT PAINTER DALLAS
I create bespoke portrait commissions for clients in Dallas and throughout Texas. Working from photographs, I produce carefully observed hand-painted portraits designed to capture character, presence and lasting significance.
Whether commissioning a family portrait, commemorative painting or personal gift, each work is developed individually with close attention to detail, composition and likeness.
Commission a Portrait
Alastair Brown is a British, atelier-trained portrait painter working within the classical tradition. He is recognised by the Art Renewal Center as an ARC Associate Living Master™ (A.R.C.A.L.M.), reflecting his commitment to the traditions and techniques of representational painting. His bespoke oil portraits combine careful observation, technical precision, and sensitivity to the individual character of each sitter.
Commissions for clients in Dallas are undertaken remotely or, where appropriate, planned around travel. Using a combination of live sittings and high-quality photographic reference, each portrait is developed through a structured and collaborative process.
