When commissioning a dog portrait painting to celebrate a lifelong companion each portrait is created with care, patience, and respect for the bond you shared. These portraits become lasting reminders that bring comfort, joy, and familiarity every time it is seen.
Dog Portraits Painted from Photographs
Photographs are often the most simple and flexible way to achieve a highly personal commissioned portrait that reflects the dog's true character. Using multiple reference images, Alastair is able to study expression and gesture to design a balanced composition which captures the individuality of your dog.
Archival Materials & Lasting Quality
All fine art animal portraits are created using museum-quality, archival materials designed for longevity, whether in oils, charcoal, or chalk on toned watercolour paper. Traditional techniques ensure the artwork retains its beauty and integrity over time.
