Alastair Brown  ​is an award-winning portrait, equine, and still life painter working within the classical tradition. Recognised as an ARC Associate Living Master™ (A.R.C.A.L.M.) by the Art Renewal Center, his work reflects a deep commitment to the principles and techniques of classical realism. His paintings have been exhibited nationally and internationally, including in the United States, and are defined by disciplined atelier training in traditional oil painting techniques. Through this foundation, he creates refined and enduring portraits characterised by accuracy, depth, and quiet restraint.

Working with private clients, families, and collectors, Alastair Brown undertakes a limited number of portrait commissions each year across the United Kingdom and internationally. There has been increasing demand from clients in the United States, including Texas, where traditions of portraiture and equestrian art remain deeply valued.
